€599 is a lot — that's why we offer instalments in monthly payments (at no extra cost). Why exactly €599? We explain the costs transparently below. Initially for Germany; Austria/Switzerland in preparation.

Why does the report cost €599?

The price is transparent and reflects real costs — we don't add anything that isn't covered by a concrete service.

·Sequencing at CeGaT (Germany): Low-pass whole-genome sequencing incl. imputation at an accredited German specialist lab — real lab cost per saliva sample.
·Combinatorial analysis by PrecisionLife: An innovative, computationally intensive analysis that detects combinations of many gene variants (not single genes) — as an appliance on servers in Germany.
·Medical supervision: Teleconsult at the start and end, physician's order and release — mandatory for genetic tests in Germany (GenDG).
·Kit & logistics: Saliva kit to your home and postage-free return to the lab.
·VAT: Statutory value-added tax is included in the price.

Because of this complexity and the innovation of the combinatorial analysis, a lower price is currently not possible. The costs for the lab (CeGaT), analysis (PrecisionLife), medical supervision and tax are real and fixed — we do not artificially change them. You pay exactly what the service costs, no more.

Instalments — so the price excludes no one

You can pay the €599 in several monthly instalments, at no extra cost. Just mention it in the first medical consultation — we'll find a split that works for you.

We are developing cheaper, simpler variants (e.g. smaller modules) step by step. The full, medically supervised report remains at €599 for now.

What happens after you click?

1A short medical teleconsult — you clarify questions and the physician's order is issued (GenDG).
2A saliva kit comes to your home; you send the sample back free of charge.
3Analysis in Germany, physician release — then your report in the protected area.

Clicking does not yet place a binding diagnostic request — the medical consultation comes first. No costs arise before that.
